We were happy with the results as our Tequila Aha Toro Reposado was made winner with the motivation ”Outclasses the competition”. The myth of tequila being the quickest way to a hangover is slowly starting to fade.
It seems the next big trend among spirits after Caribbean rum is going to be quality tequila. The trend, as seen on the other side of the ocean in the US, is increasing the tequila consumption by far. Last year tequila was the fastet growing category of spirits on the American market. Surely some of those numbers are devoted to drinking tequila as shots and slammers but the Americans have also discovered craftsmanlike, quality tequila.
